Canyon Landscaping has spent the previous two years researching and fine tuning how to most effectively install and maintain ponds in the landscape. With our ponds and streams you will have all the aspects that a pond in the wilderness would give you. Aquatic plants, fish, a natural rock bottom, and a small or large waterfall, to prevent the water from becoming stagnant, are all parts of our system. We build the pond out of an environmentally safe liner base and include Aquascapes patented filter technologies. The pump sits in a skimmer box, which is the first of the two-part filtering process. This box is assessable without getting wet, so that you can service the pump at any time. If you choose, you can even let your pond run year round in Cache Valley. Depending on the size of the stream or waterfall, lighting can also be customized for the pond, so you can enjoy it while relaxing in your back yard after the sun goes down.

The average depth of the pond is around 16” making it less of a threat to children. A small portion is excavated to as deep as 30” in order to provide a spot for the fish to winterize. Each pond is easily winterized for your pump and for the fish.

Waterfalls and streams are great additions to any pond system and can provide dynamic sound that you can enjoy even when inside the house. We also can provide a pondless waterfall, which can be wonderful, particularly if you have concerns of little children getting into the pond.

With each installation we give a one year parts and labor warranty. The labor warranty includes a walk through winterization with the customer and a spring clean-out. After the warranty period is up, we also can provide these services for you, if you choose not to do them yourself. We also include a homeowner’s video with each installation.
